"The IDAANP is the Idaho chapter of the AANP (American Association of
Naturopathic Physicians). The AANP (www.naturopathic.org) is the
national organization for licensed naturopathic physicians who are
graduates from 4-year doctoral programs from federally (or USDE)
accredited schools and who have passed a national licensing
examination.

Currently in Idaho, there are two main naturopathic associations. The
associations have joined and split apart several times in the past due
to irreconcilable differences regarding educational and examination
standards for state licensure. The IANP is the other main association in
the state of Idaho."
